Image copyright problem with File:Caribbean Football Union Logo.jpg
[edit]Thanks for uploading File:Caribbean Football Union Logo.jpg. The image has been identified as not specifying the copyright status of the image, which is required by Wikipedia's policy on images. Fair use rationale for File:Caribbean Football Union Logo.jpg
[edit]Thanks for uploading File:Caribbean Football Union Logo.jpg. You've indicated that the image meets Wikipedia's criteria for non-free content, but there is no explanation of why it meets those criteria. Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. If you have any questions, please post them at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions.
Thank you for your cooperation. NOTE: once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page. STBotI (talk) 21:23, 3 April 2009 (UTC)

Club America Issue
[edit]Hey Jcmenal-
There is absolutely nothing wrong with the statement regarding IFFHS' All-Time Club World Ranking. There exists only one All-Time ranking, and the statement states the fact: Club America is the highest ranked Mexican and CONCACAF club in this ranking.
Stop changing the sentence around, because not only do you make grammatical errors, you also are implying that there have been many of these rankings. The sentence that you added should state that in IFFHS' monthly club world ranking, Club America is tied for fifth with Atlante; emphasis on the separate ranking.
I noticed that you wrote a comment on your revision saying that it is not just a Mexican ranking, I stated clearly that it is the All-Time Club WORLD Ranking-- If you would like I can add the fact that Club America is also the highest ranked CONCACAF team.

[edit]I have removed Channel Islands of California from the list of territorial disputes. You're welcome to re-add it if the Mexican government actually makes a claim to the islands, with reference to appropriate sources. Please do not add any unsourced claims to the list. --Amble (talk) 01:05, 17 June 2009 (UTC)

[edit]You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Mexicali. Note that the three-revert rule prohibits making more than three reversions on a single page within a 24-hour period. Additionally, users who perform several reversions in content disputes may be blocked for edit warring even if they do not technically violate the three-revert rule. When in dispute with another editor you should first try to discuss controversial changes to work towards wording and content that gains a consensus among editors. Should that prove unsuccessful, you are encouraged to seek dispute resolution, and in some cases it may be appropriate to request page protection. Please stop the disruption, otherwise you may be blocked from editing. - JuneGloom07 Talk? 18:49, 27 January 2010 (UTC)

I restored the changes that user Talpis done without any talk/discussion, apparently the account was created to make such changes in English and Spanish wiki, please check the user contributions.
Decline reason:
The only exception to the edit warring policy is blatant and obvious vandalism. I am declining your request for unblock because it does not address the reason for your block, or because it is inadequate for other reasons. To be unblocked, you must convince the reviewing administrator(s) that
- the block is not necessary to prevent damage or disruption to Wikipedia, or
- the block is no longer necessary because you
- understand what you have been blocked for,
- will not continue to cause damage or disruption, and
- will make useful contributions instead.
Please read our guide to appealing blocks for more information. Beeblebrox (talk) 21:15, 27 January 2010 (UTC)

Reviewer granted
[edit]Hello. Your account has been granted the "reviewer" userright, allowing you to review other users' edits on certain flagged pages. Pending changes, also known as flagged protection, is currently undergoing a two-month trial scheduled to end 15 August 2010.
Reviewers can review edits made by users who are not autoconfirmed to articles placed under pending changes. Pending changes is applied to only a small number of articles, similarly to how semi-protection is applied but in a more controlled way for the trial. The list of articles with pending changes awaiting review is located at Special:OldReviewedPages.
When reviewing, edits should be accepted if they are not obvious vandalism or BLP violations, and not clearly problematic in light of the reason given for protection (see Wikipedia:Reviewing process). More detailed documentation and guidelines can be found here.
If you do not want this userright, you may ask any administrator to remove it for you at any time. Courcelles (talk) 05:41, 20 June 2010 (UTC)

[edit]Before I moved the borough articles back to a may reasonable disambiguation title I thought I might ask where the format for Baja California boroughs is located so I wouldn't go against a formatting policy previously unbeknownst to me. Where does it say so?
[edit]Where exactly in your reference does it explicitly says that the Mexican League is a "second level" league behind the Mexican Pacific League? (Reference you provided) Also, it's not "second level", it would be "tier 2". (I'm not pointing that out in a crude mean-spirited way)
First of all, playing in a Caribbean Series, as prestigious as it is, does not imply some hierarchical supremacy over the Mexican League. As I hope you are aware, some players play in both leagues. The Pacific League has fewer games (63) versus the longer Mexican League calendar (103). Most importantly, the Mexican League is part of the American minor league baseball system and is listed as a triple A league in the MiLB website (here).
So, I don't get what you are tying to imply?
